The Role:
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Account Executive to join our partner’s Chicago-based team. This role offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships, drive revenue growth, and play a key role in delivering innovative logistics solutions.
As an Account Executive, you will serve as a key contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored freight solutions. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to the company’s continued success in the competitive logistics market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Identify opportunities to expand business with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to deliver efficient and cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Provide clients with exceptional service, ensuring their logistics needs are met with innovative solutions.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in sales or account management, ideally within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Knowledge of international trade, freight solutions, and logistics services is a plus.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proactive problem-solver with a client-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are an asset.
