We are recruiting on behalf of our partner, a renowned international logistics provider offering a comprehensive range of services spanning air, ocean, and road transportation. With a strong global network, advanced technology solutions, and a commitment to sustainability, our partner specializes in designing customized supply chain strategies for businesses of all sizes. As they continue to expand in the Dallas market, they are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth and foster lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities in the Dallas region, engaging with potential clients to understand their logistics needs and positioning our partner’s air, ocean, and road solutions.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets, focusing on high-potential industry verticals and aligning with corporate goals.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as operations, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless onboarding, execution, and post-sale support.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities, providing insights to refine service offerings and approach.
- Performance Reporting: Monitor sales metrics, compile regular forecasts and performance reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Logistics Expertise: Proven experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales, particularly in air, ocean, and road transportation.
- Sales Acumen: Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with logistics software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Local Market Knowledge: Understanding of the Dallas/Fort Worth business environment and potential logistics opportunities is highly desirable.
