Business Development Manager

Our partner, a leading logistics provider specializing in heavy haul, heavy lift, and rail logistics based in Houston, Texas, is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand their market presence across North America. With a strong reputation for delivering tailored domestic project cargo solutions, our partner serves key industries, including Power, Energy, Plant, and Oil & Gas. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales professional to join a dynamic team and play a key role in securing new business.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within heavy haul, heavy lift, and rail logistics
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships within the Power, Energy, Plant, and Oil & Gas sectors
  • Create customized logistics solutions for domestic project cargo across North America
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to drive revenue growth while ensuring service excellence
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic prospecting and relationship management

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within heavy haul, project logistics, or freight forwarding
  • Strong industry knowledge of Power, Energy, Plant, or Oil & Gas supply chains
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to develop tailored solutions and drive long-term client partnerships
  • A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with a passion for business growth
