Business Development Manager
We are recruiting on behalf of our partner, a globally recognized provider of air, ocean, and road logistics services with a strong emphasis on sustainable and innovative solutions. Serving customers across various sectors, they are committed to delivering exceptional supply chain strategies and personalized support. As part of their ongoing expansion in San Francisco, our partner is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow market share and strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Growth: Prospect and acquire new clients while managing and expanding relationships with established accounts, focusing on the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Client-Centric Solutions: Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and offer integrated freight solutions that address unique business requirements.
- Sales Planning & Execution: Develop sales pipelines, set clear objectives, and manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract closure.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and account management, to deliver high-quality services and ensure client satisfaction.
- Market Awareness: Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in the Bay Area to adapt offerings and identify untapped opportunities.
- Reporting & Analysis: Leverage CRM systems to track progress, generate forecasts, and present updates to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Industry Experience: Solid background in logistics sales, encompassing air, ocean, and road transportation solutions.
- Bay Area Insight: Familiarity with San Francisco’s economic landscape and the ability to connect with clients in key verticals like technology, manufacturing, and distribution.
- Relationship Management: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with a consultative selling approach.
- Results-Oriented: Adept at setting and surpassing sales targets, demonstrating resilience and a drive to succeed.
- Analytical & Organized: Strong organizational skills and proficiency in CRM software, data analysis, and Microsoft Office suite.
